According to www.slashgear.com, NVDIA will unveil its Ion 2 chipset before the year's end. The second-generation platform is said to feature much faster graphics, over twice the shaders, a smaller die, and support the Intel-compatible processors such as Atom, together with the VIA Nano.
NVIDIA have confirmed that they plan to launch their second-generation Ion 2 chipset sometime in 2009. The confirmation is said came from NVIDIA’s head of chipsets.
