iiyama releases eco LCDs

iiyama has just released two low power consumption 27-inch LCD monitors, the B2712HDS and E2710HDS. Both come with light and dark color versions. These new LCD monitors come with a screen  resolution of 1920 X 1080, 5 ms (2 ms GTG) response time, maximum brightness 400 cd/m2 and contrast ratio at 1000:1. The power consumption is at 45W in the active operation mode.

The B2712HDS is with a dynamic contrast 50000:1 and equipped with two 1.5W loudspeakers, while the dynamic contrast of E2710HDS is 20000:1 and paired with two 2W loudspeakers plus 4 USB ports.

Philips releases new LED Pro HDTVs

Philips has added two new models in its LED TV series, the 40PFL9704 and the 46PFL9704. These TVs come with Philips’ next generation LED backlight technology which promise a better contrast ratio, faster refresh rate and more power efficient than the standard LCD TVs. They will be launched in December for the U.K.'s market.
